9/5 Superintendent's Opening Day Address
Updated: 7:37pm Fri 13 Oct 2006
I am deeply saddened to inform you that Debby Blumer, the wife of former Newton Superintendent of Schools Irwin Blumer, died this morning after suffering an apparent heart attack while driving.   As the State Representative from Framingham, Debby was a vocal and effective advocate for public education.   Irwin's many friends in Newton know how he adored Debby. As a school community we send our thoughts and prayers to the Blumer family.

Please check the newspapers over the weekend for details on arrangements.

NNHS Little Theatre
by Tennessee Williams
directed by Inez Dover
presented by Theatre Ink
This Pulitzer Prize and Drama Critics Award winner is a powerful play that depicts the crumbling lives of a Southern family in the mid 50's.  It is a compelling and classic drama that deals with love, hate, death, desperation, truth, and sorrow.  “Cat” like other Tennessee Williams plays is an intensely moving portrayal of human frailties and human suffering.
