Summary
On 11/13/01, the School Committee began discussions on whether to institute a seatbelt requirement for buses serving Newton students and to incorporate that requirement into the upcoming bus contract negotiations.  Discussions continued at the 11/26/01 meeting and concluded with a vote at the last regular meeting of the year on 12/10/01.
